1. Digital Goods Policy
Cultural Sound Lab provides digital music licenses and downloads. As our products are digital in nature, they are delivered instantly upon purchase and cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense. This policy outlines our approach to refunds and cancellations for digital purchases.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:
- Technical issues that prevent you from accessing or downloading your purchased content
- Duplicate charges or billing errors
- Content significantly different from its description
- Unauthorized transactions on your account
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following purchases are generally non-refundable:
- Licenses that have been downloaded or used
- Subscription fees after the service has been accessed
- Custom or personalized licensing agreements
- Purchases made more than 7 days ago (except for billing errors)
4. Refund Request Process
To request a refund:

- Include your order ID or transaction reference
- Describe the reason for your refund request
- Provide any relevant screenshots or documentation
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 48 hours.
5. Refund Timeline
Once a refund is approved:
- Processing time: 5-7 business days
- Refunds are credited to the original payment method
- Bank processing may take an additional 5-10 business days
- You will receive email confirmation when the refund is processed
6. Cancellation Before Download
If you wish to cancel a purchase before downloading or accessing the content, please contact us immediately at support@culturalsoundlab.com. We will process a full refund if the content has not been accessed.
7. Subscription Cancellation
For subscription services:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
- Access continues until the end of your current billing period
- No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of the billing period
- Cancellation must be completed before the next billing cycle to avoid charges
8. Disputed Charges
If you notice an unauthorized or incorrect charge, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving billing disputes quickly and fairly. Chargebacks may result in account suspension pending investigation.
9. License Revocation
Upon approval of a refund, any licenses or permissions granted through the refunded purchase will be immediately revoked. Continued use of refunded content constitutes a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in legal action.
